These are set when you arrive rather than after you agree, and you can turn the measurement off in one click. There is no advertising, no retargeting, and nothing shared with a social network.
What we set
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language you chose, so the site does not reset to English on your next page. Set without asking, because it only does what you asked. | Until you clear it |
| _ga, _ga_…Google Analytics | Counts visits and which pages get read, so we can tell what is useful. Set when you arrive. Turn measurement off and nothing from Google is loaded at all. | Up to 2 years |
| _clck, _clskMicrosoft Clarity | Records how pages are used — where people click and scroll, and where they get stuck — so we can fix what does not work. Set when you arrive, and stopped the moment you turn measurement off. | Up to 1 year |
| Pure ChatLive chat widget | Runs the chat box and keeps a conversation attached to you if you reload the page, so you do not have to start again. Set without asking, because chat is how you reach support and it has to work before you have answered a banner. | Session, and up to 1 year |
NEXT_LOCALE holds a language code and nothing else. The others hold a random identifier so repeat visits are not counted twice.
Clarity records a replay of the page as you use it. Anything you type into a form on this site is masked before it leaves your browser — a recording never contains your name, email, phone number or anything else you enter. We record how the page behaves, not what you tell us.
How this works, and how to stop it
We measure by default and tell you we are doing it. The notice at the bottom of the page is not asking a question — it is telling you what is already running, because we would rather say that plainly than show you a choice we had already made.
“Turn it off” genuinely turns it off. It is not a preference we record and ignore. From your next page load, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are not requested at all — not the script, not a cookie, not a pageless ping. Nothing else on this site changes.
The chat loads on every page too. It is how you reach support, and a support channel that waits for you to answer a banner is not a support channel. If you would rather not use it, email reaches the same people, and your browser can block it without breaking anything else here.
We do not ask about NEXT_LOCALE either. A cookie strictly necessary to provide what you asked for does not require consent, and asking would be theatre.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting pixels
- No social media trackers
- No tag manager loading things we have not listed here
- No selling or sharing of what analytics collects
Fonts and styles are served from this domain. Turn measurement off and the only third party left is the chat.
Turning it off
Any browser can block or clear cookies for this site. Nothing breaks if you do — the site forgets your language and shows English until you pick again, and the banner asks once more.
Clearing this site’s storage in your browser also resets your answer, so you can change your mind either way.
